From Alaska,  this Student Cabin was built by a young lady and her son as a history project for his American history class.

We worked with a Pennsylvania man who wanted a custom kit that replicated his ancestors home (circ. early 1700s) in the Pennsylvania mountains.  The bottom floor of their log cabin home was a springhouse.

Here is a Franklin Cabin Kit built by a Virginia man. In his letter he said, "...the plans were easy to follow...most anyone should be able to build this kit."

Here's is a half-inch scale Franklin Cabin Kit built by an Ohio man.

Here's a wild photo of Gretchen's rustic church kit. Gretchen tells me the plans were thorough and very easy to follow. The overall results were excellent. Nice job Gretchen!

Here is our favorite! This cabin was built by Brian, age 11 1/2 yrs. and his sister, Kim, age 10, of Tucson, AZ. They had fun crafting chairs, a table, benches, a bed, crib and a shelf, too. Kim made curtains for the windows and a matress for the bed. A job well done, kids.

This (1” to the foot scale) cabin was built by Sylvia in Maryland. She transformed the kit into her own creation by added a picture window, a copper dormer roof, and modeling the chimney to look like stone. Then she furnished her cabin with a sink, furniture and accessories. As you can see the finished cabin is great!

A Michigan lady made a few changes to the Franklin Cabin Kit to create her miniature log cabin. She used polished stones from a local stream, removed the loft and opened the back wall. She also made most of the furniture. Well done!
